ArthriAid is a scientifically formulated food supplement designed to provide specific nutrients required to keep joints healthy. Wear and tear inevitably affects the joints and as they age, they can become stiff and sore. ArthriAid is designed to help to slow down these changes, so that supple, pain-free movement can be maintained.

What are the ArthriAid ingredients? How does ArthriAid work?
ArthriAid contains glucosamine, chondroitin, MSM, Manganese and Vitamin C.Glucosamine is used to make new cartilage and to maintain the health of existing cartilage. Cartilage is the "shock absorber" of the joints, coating the ends of the bones in a tough, rubbery pad. Chondroitin is another important constituent of cartilage. It helps to maintain the spongy texture, vital for the function of cartilage to be maintained. MSM (Methyl Sulphonyl Methane) is an organic sulphur compound which is deficient in many diets and helps in the formation of collagen and connective tissues in joints and many other places around the body. Manganese is an important cofactor, used by the body to make glycosaminoglycans and other compounds found in the joints and their lubricating fluid (synovial fluid). Vitamin C is a powerful anti-oxidant which protects against the oxidative damage from free radicals, thus slowing part of the ageing process.By boosting the levels of these important nutrients, the body has greater amounts to use in the joints. The symptoms of older, worn out joints like pain and stiffness, seen especially in the mornings or after periods of rest, are reduced. As it becomes more comfortable to move around, dogs and cats move more freely and then this regular movement in itself helps to maintain suppleness and comfort.
